Granny Sue and Aunt Becky Visit

So this past weekend was a big one for the family, with a side trip to Lampasas, TX to boot! It is always good to have family in town no matter the occasion, but it certainly is nice to have a helping hand with a newborn. Lillian is now 5.5 weeks old, staying more and more alert during the day and gives us just one interruption in the middle of the night. We are also noticing a tendency towards having 'touch' be one of her love languages as she most times will not relax unless she is being held... then again it may be just her being a baby.

Today was funny as we discovered she really tends to relax when outdoors. This makes me excited because maybe she'll want to go camping/hiking/fishing/hunting with her old man. However I have yet to go hunting myself so i'll need to get going on that. But today she was particularly cranky so I took her in my arms and walked around the block, and as soon as I started down the steps of our house she quieted down immediately!! Perhaps it's the rocking motion of walking that she likes, but I'll take whatever I can get.

She is nursing well and is growing every day. It's amazing to see such a miracle. Ok, enough talk, lets get some photos.
